Yesterday, Room 117 participated in our annual Walk-a-thon! It is always a favorite school day every year! Of course, we all had a blast walking and dancing to the music!
Happy Mother's Day to all Room 117 Moms, Grandmas, Aunts, or sisters! We hope you all enjoyed all of your special gifts we made!
Yesterday, was a day our first graders have been waiting for... our field trip! We got to go see a play- a unique experience for most first graders! All students absolutely LOVED it! One student even shouted onto the stage, "I love you guys. You guys are so funny!".
Before the show began, we played a fun game of telephone, I-Spy, and even pretended like we were sleeping! :)
See below for a few of the fun moments the first graders experienced!
Students in Room 117 were asked to show off their shoe-tying skills this week in class, in an effort to get students to be more independent! The prize? If students were able to tie the shoe, they got a VERY cool "Shoe Tie Club" membership card, and they got to sign our membership list! They were sooo excited (and determined!)!
