On Friday, August 29, we got together with all of the other first grade classes at our school. We celebrated the end to our first week with popsicles and recess! It was a big surprise and we had a fun time! We can't wait for week 2 to begin!
Well, we have made it through a week of first grade! We now know our classmates, are making new friends, finished our first project, shared our summer stories, are learning how to write words, and are learning different ways to write numbers! We also watched a Scholastic News video online (that you can watch at home) and discussed what it means to be a good citizen: patience, respect, being cooperative, responsible, and caring.
